Professor Marlene Harter recently visited the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kottayam as part of the Project-Related Personal Exchange funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). During her time at IIIT Kottayam, Prof. Harter engaged with faculty and students, discussing potential research partnerships and academic exchanges. The visit also provided an opportunity for her to explore ongoing projects at IIIT Kottayam and share insights from her own research in advanced technologies.
As part of her visit, Prof. Harter participated in the IEEE SPICES (International Conference on Signal Processing, Informatics, Communication, and Energy Systems), hosted at IIIT Kottayam. At the conference, she delivered a talk titled "Modern Radar Techniques for Automotive Applications", where she presented her research on improving radar systems for enhanced target detection in cluttered and challenging environments. Her presentation provided insights into innovative radar signal processing, reflecting her expertise in the field.
Prof. Harter's visit not only strengthened ties between the two institutions but also contributed to ongoing discussions in cutting-edge technologies at IEEE SPICES, opening up opportunities for future collaboration.
