The 20th "European Radar Conference" (EuRAD 2023) was held in Berlin, Germany, September 20-22, 2023, as part of the "European Microwave Week" 2023 (Sept. 17-22, 2023). This radar conference is the most important European event to exchange information about the current state and future trends in the field of radar research, technology, system design and applications with a global network of researchers, industry representatives, students and institutes.

Prof. Harter, as TPC Chair (Technical Program Committee), had the main responsibility for the scientific and technical program (i.e. lectures, poster sessions, scientific contributions) and took an essential role in the Opening and Closing of EuRAD, during which she presented notable developments of the conference in general. This year, for the first time ever at a comparable conference, more than 200 scientific contributions on research activities ("papers") in the field of radar systems, applications and developments were submitted, which were addressed by more than 600 participants in various plenary talks, keynotes and workshops. The "EuMA Radar Prize" and the "EuRAD Young Engineer Prize" were awarded and valuable and extensive contacts with companies, researchers and students could be established at a EuRAD Lunch and a "Student Career Event".

Also in the general framework of the EuMW, the IUAS was able to present itself strongly with a presentation by Nicolas Treier (Research Associate) about the MiDeSCa project and the research successes in the field of skin cancer diagnosis using millimeter waves. It was also nice to meet current and former IUAS members and students to exchange ideas.

All in all, a wonderful event where the IUAS once again played a strong role and successfully represented the University of Applied Sciences Offenburg.
