The IUAS participated in the International Radar Symposium (IRS-2025), held in Hamburg from May 20th to 23rd. The symposium provided an excellent platform for academics, researchers, and industry professionals in the radar field to connect and exchange ideas. The event featured exhibitions showcasing state-of-the-art technologies, keynote speeches, parallel presentation sessions, and panel discussions.
As part of the conference, M.Sc. Hima Dominic delivered a presentation titled "Design Workflow for Layouts of Heating Foils in Automotive Radar Radomes" during the session "Automotive Radar Hardware and Interference Mitigation."
The presented design workflow integrates theoretical analysis, simulation, and measurement-based verification to evaluate the electromagnetic transmission properties of heating foils. These foils are used in automotive radar radomes to remove ice and snow from the outer surface, ensuring reliable radar operation in harsh weather conditions.
