Philip Arthur presented at the IEEE Radio 2025 his paper "Experimental GPR Water Leakage Detection Using Modified Vivaldi Antennas", co-authored with B.Sc. Mathias Kromer and Prof. Marlene Harter. The work introduces a novel application of Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) for the detection of leakages in water pipelines, highlighting the potential of the developed antennas and
hardware.

The conference took place from October 27–30, 2025. The award was presented by Prof. Vikas Monebhurrun (General Chair of the Conference) and Prof. Christophe Fumeaux (President of the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society). We sincerely congratulate Philip Arthur on this outstanding scientific achievement and the international recognition of his work.
