Among them was the project "WATer IEakage findeR (WATER): A Teaching and Research Project Addressing the Sustainable Development Goals" at Offenburg University, which is being carried out at the Institute for Unmanned Aerial Systems (IUAS) under the direction of Prof. Dr. Marlene Harter.

Marlene Harter presented the contents of the project at the kick-off event: The subject of the project is a teaching and research co-operation between Offenburg University and the University of Mauritius in the field of leak detection in water networks for fresh water in Mauritius. In addition to research, the project also includes scholarships that give students from the University of Mauritius the opportunity to study at Offenburg University.
