Founded in 2011, the Institute for Unmanned Aerial Systems (IUAS) focuses on:

• Unmanned and autonomous aerial systems
• Radar systems and applications
• Antenna and radio frequency systems
• Control and automation systems

The IUAS has numerous research and development projects in these areas.

Due to the interdisciplinary nature of the departments and the many years of expertise, the IUAS is a reliable research and development partner for companies, universities and research institutions.

Furthermore, the IUAS offers the following services:

• the performance of development-accompanying measurements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
• the design and development of antennas
• the execution of drone flights
