During the development work in sewer rehabilitation, an acoustic method for the inspection of sewer pipes was developed. This has resulted in a project for a system for channel navigation, which has now been completed. In a subsequent project, the hydraulic properties of sewer pipes will now be investigated acoustically. From this, an attempt is made to derive a practicable procedure for the hydraulic evaluation of sewer systems.
Extensive preparatory work in optical 3D acquisition has also led to a development project in this area. As a result, a prototype was developed.
